Testimonials

“The Delaware Valley Dance Academy is much more than a place for your child to dance. It is a place for your child to learn about the possibilities that exist in themselves. Our daughter has been dancing with DVDA for six years. It has been a pleasure watching her grow in confidence, discipline and grace. Molly continues to keep dance as a part of her life, even though her middle school schedule is very busy. She says her life would feel empty without DVDA.

Thank you to Lisa Wasserman and her staff of professional dance instructors. They have all played an important role in our daughter’s development!”

“We researched several dance schools in the area when my daughter decided to switch from gymnastics to dance. DVDA was by far the most professional. I knew my daughter would be able to pursue her love of dance here learning the ‘right’ way with instructors who are knowledgeable, dedicated and kind.”

– Wendy, Harleysville, PA

“We came to DVDA from another studio. My daughters are advanced students and were concerned about switching schools. They are very pleased with the technical level of the classes at DVDA, the expertise of the teaching staff, the artistry of the choreography and the warmth of the students. They felt very at home at DVDA in a short time. We are all very happy we made the move!”

– Janis, Doylestown, PA

“Great teachers! The performances are the best around… we love the Nutcracker! Our daughters all take ballet but the variety of other classes like Tap and Hip Hop are great. I even tried the Adult Ballet class and it was lots of fun.”

– Jennifer & Randy, Perkasie, PA

“We love this dance school. The owners are so warm, friendly, and welcoming, and also extremely professional. They present an excellent, enjoyable Spring production and recital, and the Nutcracker every year. The staff is top notch, and they get to know each student and parent, so it feels like a family of sorts.

“When I moved to PA from South Jersey, I was looking for a place that not only I could share my Royal Academy of Dance credentials with and teach for but a place where I could trust that what my daughter was going to learn would be exceptional. DVDA was that place. I have danced for a small ballet company for many years in NJ and DVDA reminds me of that company. Dancers are expected to work hard and are placed in roles that they will thrive in. The director has a tremendous amount of experience pulling from her years as a professional dancer and as an instructor. So do all her staff. I would not settle for any studio for myself nor would I settle for my daughter. No one in this area comes close to offering the quality of dance training that DVDA offers. Dance is a hard and complex hobby to take up. What it teaches students is that you must work hard and be dedicated in what you do. That corrections are not to hurt you but to make you stronger and better as a person and dancer. The lessons you learn at dance and at DVDA are lessons that can be applied to life in general. I feel blessed that I have found this studio and would recommend it in a heartbeat to anyone I came across.
